Main Floor Plan:
Twin garages are
separated to form an exterior
entrance courtyard with planting on both sides.
The steps and approach to the entrance are roofed
over but the planters are left open to allow rain to
water the plants. The interior courtyard is two storeys high, lit from
above and containing two pools.
The stairs are broad and arranged in three short
flights with two landings. They are contained in a
semi-circle with a large round skylight above, which floods the stairwell
with natural light down to the basement level.
Upper Floor:
At the top of the
stair is a library which overlooks
the two storey Living Room below. The fully
