Pacific Rim Architecture Ltd. was awarded the task of designing a Preliminary Design Concept for the expansion and renovation of St. Peter’s Church in New Westminster, BC.  The initial Design Concepts were provided for the purpose of clearance of zoning issues raised by the City of New Westminster as well as for a Feasibility Study for this project.

The design consists of an addition to the existing building with approximately 9,000 sq.ft. of new space on two levels including basement floor, which is bright and cheerful.  A new Fellowship Hall plus administration area have been included with many innovative ideas using modern technology. 

The Design Concept was introduced with 3-D AutoCAD drawings using a multi-frame computer technique.  The seating arrangement of the worship space is circular in formation with a raised platform for the altar.
