After the successful completion of the St. Andrew Kim Parish Hall/Church, Pacific Rim Architecture Ltd. was again selected by the St. Andrew Kim RC Parish to design a new Elementary and Sunday school complex to sit adjacent to their new hall.

Located right beside the new Hall, the school will be comprised of a two storey steel frame structure of approximately 12,000 sq. ft.  Design elements and layout closely match those of the existing Hall, and help present a cohesive aesthetic to the entire site.  Interior and finishes will match those of the existing
hall as well.

The challenge of the project was to design an attractive, affordable, durable structure which would be used as an education centre for K-12 children, as well as double as classrooms and meeting rooms for adult education, ESL and other church activities.  The plan makes use of movable partitions that enhance the flexibility of space usage.

Tile, resilient flooring, metal doors all contribute to making the facility durable.  Exterior finishes include stucco and German-engineered super-panel cladding.
