After the successful completion of the St. Andrew Kim Parish Hall/Church, Pacific Rim Architecture Ltd. was again selected by the St. Andrew Kim RC Parish to design the new Taegon Education Centre to sit adjacent to their new hall.

Located right beside the new Hall, the Education Centre will comprise a single storey steel frame structure of approximately 9,000 sq. ft.  Design elements and layout closely match those of the existing Hall, and help present a cohesive aesthetic to the entire site.  Interior and exterior finishes will match those of the existing
hall.

The challenge of the project was to design an attractive, affordable, durable structure which would be used as an education centre and provide meeting rooms for adult education, ESL and other church activities.  The plan makes use of movable partitions that enhance the flexibility of space usage.

Tile, resilient flooring, metal doors all contribute to making the facility durable.  Exterior finishes include stucco and Hardie siding.
