HLTC Holdings Ltd. is a rapidly -growing
market developer in BC.
Pacific Rim Architecture was asked to assist with their
30,000 sq.ft. expansion and design a brand new market building on 3 levels
including a parking garage level plus mixed use areas compromising of retail
and office space.
Exterior materials are cast-in-place
concrete block for parking garage
and split face concrete block above.
Other design elements include upper floor windows with metal sun-screen. The main floor will primarily be aluminum
storefront sections with spandrel panels and lightly tinted green vision panels where
functionally appropriate. A 4 ft. metal glass
canopy will provide weather protection for
front and side elevations. A 12 ft. long
metal/glass canopy suspended from the
building will mark the entrance
to the market. |
