Born in Hong Kong of
Portuguese parents, Gustavo da Roza received his Portuguese education in
Macau, and completed his English education at LaSalle College in Hong Kong.
He enrolled in the inaugural class of the Architecture Program at the
University of Hong Kong and graduated in 1955 with the Bachelor of
Architecture degree with First Class Honours. In 1960 Gustavo da Roza
immigrated to Canada to teach at the University of Manitoba in Winnipeg. He
has maintained his architectural practice, Da Roza Architects since 1962.
Success at numerous architectural competitions and design award programs has
led to numerous exhibitions of his projects across Canada, the United
States, Europe
and the Far East.
His
vast international and Canadian
experiences enrich the planning and design concepts of
associated Architects in the firm. |
